As with any pet product, supervision is always advised. We recommend supervising your dog during their interactions with the Heartbeat Comforter to ensure they do not treat the comforter as a chew toy. The decision to leave your dog unsupervised with the comforter is at the discretion and responsibility of the owner.

Absolutely! The Heartbeat Comforter was originally conceived for new pups, but over the years we have heard many success stories from new kitten owners telling us how much the Heartbeat Comforter has helped their new kitten adjust to their new home.

Q: Are the Heartbeat Comforters washable?

Yes! The comforters are machine washable. Simply remove the heart before washing and wash on a gentle cycle.

Q: How does the heart work? 

The heart is powered by 2x AAA batteries (not included). The battery life of the heart is approximately 240 hours.
